Why go?
Designed for seasoned adventurers, this 7‑day circuit goes beyond the typical tourist trails. Starting in Leh, you’ll visit Tso Moriri via Hemis and Tso Kar, then take the challenging Kyon Tso backroad to Hanle (subject to conditions). From Hanle, conquer both Umling La and Photi La in one day. Return via the wild Kaksang La route to Pangong, then traverse the Shyok River valley to Nubra, finishing with a drive over Khardung La. Expect rough roads, high altitudes, and unforgettable scenery.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
